Can I change the return date after the appointment has been scheduled?

You can easily request an adjustment to your return date via the FINN customer portal. This is possible up to 10 days before the planned return.

To do this, simply click on "Edit return" under My car. Under "Date" you can now select and save your desired delivery date. We will check your request as quickly as possible and confirm it if it is possible to change the date.

Please note:

  • The return date should be 5 days before or after the contract end date.
  • If the return date is changed at very short notice, we may have to charge you an administration fee. If it is no longer possible to make a free adjustment in your case, we will of course inform you in advance.

Alternative: Return of your vehicle by a third person

If you are unable to return the vehicle yourself on the day of return, you are welcome to authorize a friend or family member to return the vehicle on your behalf. Further information can be found here

You can download the power of attorney in your account under "My car". Scroll down to the return section and click on the "Are you unable to return the car?" button. A pop-up window will then appear in which you will find the link to the power of attorney.
