How does the condition assessment work before return?

The free vehicle condition assessment before return ensures transparency regarding the car’s condition and any potential damages. Our goal: a convenient and transparent process.

Steps for the Vehicle Condition Assessment

1. Booking an Appointment in the Customer Portal

Please book an appointment that suits you through our customer portal by clicking the "Book Condition Assessment" button. Alternatively, you can schedule the assessment immediately after booking your vehicle return.

2. Final Confirmation with Our Service Provider

1-2 days after booking, our service provider will contact you via phone or email to confirm the final date and details.

3. Preparing for the Condition Assessment

To ensure a smooth assessment process, please prepare your vehicle as follows:

  • Cleaning: Clean the vehicle thoroughly inside and out. Ideally, wash it on the day of the assessment or the day before to ensure it is dry.
  • Accessories: Ensure all accessories (e.g., safety vest, first-aid kit) are in the car.
  • Remove Personal Items: Take out all personal belongings as well as stickers or decals.

4. On the Day of the Condition Assessment

Parking Spot: Park your vehicle in a well-lit area that is easily accessible from all sides.

Documents: Have the following documents and items ready:

  • 2 (or 3) vehicle keys
  • Vehicle registration document
  • Service booklet

5. After the Condition Assessment

Final Invoice: You will receive your final invoice, including the results of the condition assessment, approximately 3-4 weeks after the return.

Vehicle Usage: You can continue using the vehicle as usual until the return date.
