How does the condition assessment work before return?

A free condition assessment of your vehicle before the return ensures full transparency regarding its condition and any potential damages.

1 | Book an Appointment via the Customer Portal

Easily book a suitable appointment through our customer portal by clicking on “Book condition assessment.”
Alternatively, you can schedule the assessment directly after booking your vehicle return.


2 | Confirmation by Our Partner

Our delivery partner will contact you within 1–2 days after your booking, either by phone or email, to coordinate the exact delivery date and all other details. We’ll then confirm the final appointment via email, which will also include the contact details of our delivery partner.


3 | How to Prepare for the Condition Assessment

By following a few simple steps, you can ensure a smooth process and favorable assessment conditions—while also helping to avoid unexpected charges from damages identified later:

  • Cleaning: Please clean your vehicle thoroughly inside and out. It should be dry and free of snow, ice, or rain—ideally washed on the day of the assessment or the day before.
  • Check accessories: Make sure all accessories (e.g., safety vest, first aid kit) are present in the vehicle.
  • Remove personal belongings: Please remove all personal items, including any stickers or wraps.
  • Parking: Park your vehicle in a well-lit area that is easily accessible from all sides on the day of the assessment.
  • Have the following documents/items ready:
    • 2 (or possibly 3) vehicle keys
    • Vehicle registration certificate
    • Service booklet

5 | After the Condition Assessment

Final invoice: You will receive your final invoice, including the results of the condition assessment, around 3–4 weeks after returning the vehicle.
Continued use: You may continue using the vehicle as usual until the day of return.
