What damage is covered by FINN insurance?

Here’s an overview of the insurance coverage included with your FINN car subscription:

  1. Third-Party Liability Insurance
    • Covers damages caused by you as the driver to other people, their property, or their financial assets.
    • Coverage limit:
      • Up to €100 million per incident
      • Up to €15 million per injured person

2. Partial Coverage Insurance

    • Covers damages to your own vehicle caused by external factors, such as:
      • Glass damage
      • Damages caused by natural events (e.g., storms, hail)
      • Theft of the vehicle
    • For repairable stone chips: If a repair is possible, we cover the full cost.

3. Comprehensive Insurance

    • Covers damages to your own vehicle caused by:
      • Your own fault
      • Unknown third parties (e.g., hit-and-run accidents)

 

What is the deductible in case of a claim?

The deductible depends on the insurance package you select:

 

  • FINN Basic Protection – Included in every subscription
    • Partial Coverage: max. €500 deductible per claim
    • Comprehensive Coverage: max. €1,000 deductible per claim
  • FINN Premium Protection
    • Partial Coverage: max. €500 deductible per claim
    • Comprehensive Coverage: max. €500 deductible per claim

 

Do I receive a replacement car in case of a claim?

To ensure you stay mobile, we provide a replacement car free of charge during the repair period – included in every FINN subscription!

If you prefer a vehicle from a higher category, you can book one for an additional charge to meet your specific mobility needs.

Please note: There are exclusions in certain cases, such as violations involving alcohol, drugs, or criminal acts like illegal street racing. In exceptional cases, the deductible may be higher; this will be communicated before contract signing.
